Epson · “Service required” · Ink pad at end of life
Bring your printer back to life, right from your browser.
Read your printer’s waste ink counters for free, then reset them safely. Every reset is checked by reading the counters back.
- Download PrintRevive on the computer your printer is plugged into by USB.
- Open it. This page connects to your printer by itself.
- Read, then reset your counters here.

Reset the waste ink counters
The counters exist for a reason. Inside your printer, sponges called waste ink pads soak up the ink used during cleaning. When the counter says they are full, they usually are. Resetting the counter without cleaning or replacing the pads (or fitting an external waste ink tank) can make ink leak out of the printer onto your desk or floor, and can damage the printer.

Safety first
Read before write
We always read the counters and the printer’s own error state before changing anything.
Verified
After a reset the counters are read back. You see exactly how many values were confirmed.
Your printer only
We only write to the model your printer reports itself as. We never force a mismatch.
